They were included Brother Donald Sukanek, John Sanchez, David Daraio, Joseph Grippo, Sharon Sperruggia, Joseph Romano, Maryann Todzia and Bill Donovan.
After St. Stan’s Endowment Committee chair Jill Nicholois introduced St. Stanislaus pastor Monsignor Joseph Calise, school principal Cathy Mangone spoke about the bright students and graduating class, with record numbers of scholarships to a dozen high schools in the area this year.
“We are truly blessed to be the recipients of their civic activities,” said Mangone. “Every day our children work with passionate teachers and engage with gifted teachers who are both professional and compassionate.
“There are smart boards in every room and class sets of iPads available to the students,” she added. “They make us proud every day,” she said.
The event raised nearly $30,000 for the programs within the school. Most notable is the school’s free Summer Enrichment Program for students who are able to handle an academic regimen over the summer.
