The NYPD is asking for the public's help in locating a man who tried to cash several personal checks against the account of an 80-year-old woman. According to police reports, on June 6 the suspect entered banks in the 112th Precinct and tried to cash several fraudulent checks, succeeding one time. The suspect was caught on one bank's surveillance camera, and that image was released last week.
