7:30 pm MSG: Raptors at Knicks: The Knicks get another look at Chris Bosh, one of the free agents they’ll surely be after, and the one they’ll probably end up with, when the off season signing bonanza begins. (Oh yeah, and we guess they’ll try to turn around their slumping season and yadda yadda.)
Friday January 29
7:30 pm Bishop Loughlin at Christ the King: This is the match up that everyone has been looking to see. It’s a rematch of last season’s CHSAA intersectional semifinal. This time, Loughlin looks to have the advantage.
Saturday January 30
7:00 pm Long Island at St. Francis (Pa): The Blackbirds are in the thick of the NEC race, a game behind first place Robert Morris. A win over struggling St. Francis would really help. But LIU shouldnt get complacent. Anyone can beat anyone in the NEC.
7:00 pm St. Francis (NY) vs Robert Morris: How about those Terriers? The team that everyone (including us) wrote off is in the thick of the NEC race. They’ll get a crack at first place Robert Morris Saturday in what is a surprisingly huge game.
Sunday January 31
7:20 pm ESPN: Pro Bowl: We know, the Pro Bowl is boring. But hey, there will be a lot of scoring! And you’ll get one last look at Jets and Giants players this year. Besides, what else are you going to watch? The Grammies?
Tuesday February 2
7:30 pm St. John’s at Rutgers: The Red Storm are reeling after two straight losses. What’s a good tonic? A visit from The Scarlett Knights, who are 0-7 in Big East play. Look for the Red Storm to get back on track.
Wednesday February 3
7:30 pm MSG: The Wizards kissed their season away when Gilbert Arenas brought guns into the locker room in Washington DC. Now they’ll serve as just another team for the Knicks to beat up. (Let’s maybe the Knicks will win by 50! Hey, we can dream can’t we?)
