The Brooklyn pol recently went on a three-day fast for immigration reform. That's right, he didn't eat for three days to bring attention to the need for comprehensive immigration reform.
But apparently he wasn't the only one. According to a release sent out by Make the Road New York, Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez and councilwomen Julissa Ferreras and Ydanis Rodriguez also joined in the three-day protest diet, although Pol Position couldn't confirm if all of the elected officials actually made it three days without eating.
Or if anybody in Arizona or Washington, D.C., cared that they were avoiding all of that free food that politicians feast on at all of those galas, lobbying events, and luncheons.
