Tennis royalty graces the courts at the U.S. Open every summer, but on Arthur Ashe Kids' Day, it's the children that rule. Presented by Hess and produced by the United States Tennis Association (USTA), the 15th annual event on August 28 was no exception.

Kids and their families enjoyed dozens of interactive activities such as obstacle courses, demonstrations, tennis clinics, relay races and more. They got to meet tennis stars including Rafael Nadal, Andy Roddick, Kim Clijsters and Novak Djokovic. Pop icons the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato headlined the musical performances, reprising their respective 2007 and 2008 Kids' Day appearances.

A portion of the proceeds from Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day will benefit the National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) network, which was established by Arthur Ashe, Charlie Pasarell and Sheridan Snyder in 1969. The annual event aims to bring families together through interactive activities and to continue tennis legend Ashe's mission of using tennis as a means to instill in kids the values of humanitarianism, leadership and academic excellence.
