A dead man was discovered inside Maspeth's Reiff Playground Thursday morning in an apparent suicide.

The body was found dangling from a set of monkey bars in the playground at approximately 8 a.m. near the intersection of Fresh Pond Road and 59th Drive. It was initially spotted by neighborhood children, who ran from the park and alerted police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not released the identity of the man pending proper notification of his family, only describing him as a male Hispanic in his 20's. An investigation by the medical examiner will determine the exact cause of death.

UPDATE: The police have identified the body found in Rieff Park as Bogus Nuckowski, 37, of 60-53 Flushing Avenue in Maspeth.
